Announcement for 2026:
This year CAMBRIDGE ARTWORKS & ARTSPACE will be pausing the summer residency programme to give our lovely blue caravan some much needed care and repair. We’ll resume in 2027, bringing together a new season of plans and artist opportunities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our Caravanserai Summer Residencies!
In previous years, we have invited artists of all disciplines to apply for the Caravanserai Summer Residencies, based in a bright blue caravan that’s been repurposed into a bespoke studio and 'parked' under the trees next to our main studio building.
The residencies offer selected artists an opportunity to concentrate exclusively on their individual practice and take time out from usual routines for experimentation, critical thinking and the development of new work within the context of a vibrant artists' studio community in Cambridge.
