SALLY CONNIE TODD
Sally trained as a sculptor and works in theatre, both these things inform her film practice. She works with archive/found film and the site specific, creating sculptural installations with the moving image in response to atmospheres and narratives of place, looking at the possibilities of film beyond the frame and playing with the archive to reveal other stories untold. She is interested in the boundaries of film language and its relationship to live performance. Sally also collaborates with other artist filmmakers (neuf.org.uk) to produce work in non gallery settings and have conversations with different audiences about film’s potential to engage in a screen saturated world.

Based in Cambridge, Sally also tours with Indefinite Articles, creating theatre throughout UK, and overseas including USA, Lebanon and Tunisia.
