Jan's current work explores themes of journey patterns and migration in a response to the emotional and difficult journeys made by displaced people around the world. She uses Greek classical sculpture as a starting point to symbolise the experience of odyssey and dislocation, suggesting the changes surrounding the human condition to create an inner resonance and to open up new possibilities and dialogues.
Her practise incorporates screen printing, photography and collage making unique and limited print editions.
