I paint the ephemeral and unreachable in landscape. My paintings come from memories of journeys combined with imagined places, and from the sense of curiosity of what cannot be clearly seen or touched. Each painting is evocative of a place but is never of any one place. Details of the landscape are suggested but never made clear
The cows are taken out of context and painted for the beauty of their shapes and colours
