Jan Ayton

My recent work is based in the fen area north west of Kings Lynn. I wanted to explore the changes in the landscape and the role it has in linking the past with the present and how that connects with contemporary concerns of identity and nature. At present the boundaries control the sea but changes in weather patterns pose a serious threat to this low-lying area.

I studied Fine Art Printmaking and Photomedia at Central Saint Martins. I work with collage, text, photography and etching.
