Amenities
The floor space is approximately 45 m².
The room is equipped with moveable spotlights, has matte white walls and ceiling and a grey painted concrete floor.  There are adequate power sockets.

Users of ArtSpace have access to toilets situated in the Artworks main building. Tea and coffee making facilities are also available.  There is a butlers sink situated in the store-room partitioned off from the main space.  There are a number of tables and chairs available for use.


Booking Details

ARTSPACE HIRE RATES

Teaching blocks will run for 5 week blocks, one week break, followed by a further 5 weeks. This can be seen as a 10-week term with two blocks of 5 weeks. The week break will coincide with half term and this can then be used for a children’s course or an exhibition.

Letting of the space is both for classes and exhibitions. Classes take priority during term times. Exhibitions may be fitted around them, provided the hirer for exhibitions is made aware that classes may take place when work is hanging in the space (this may have insurance implications),

TERM DATES WILL BE DISCUSSED WHEN BOOKING

Workshop hire rates

            For a block of 5 weeks to be paid in advance:

            £40 per session (up to 4 hours am/pm or evening)
           
            Single sessions
            £80 per day
            £160 per weekend

Note: These charges are still relatively low compared with Church halls and other venues in the area.

The space is heated by portable heaters, which are supplied. For health & safety reasons, no additional heaters can be brought into the space.

Exhibition rates

Artists and Individuals £200 per week

Group shows £250 per week

A reservation deposit of £50 per week is required to secure a booking, which is non-refundable

Full payment of the balance is due at least 3 weeks prior to the exhibition

No refunds will be given on cancellations made less than 3 weeks prior to the exhibition.

It is the artist's responsibility to promote and man their own exhibitions.  ArtSpace logo should be included on any printed publicity and all material should be approved by ArtSpace prior to printing.  It is ocassionally possible for ArtWorks to assist in invigilating an exhibition by prior arrangement.

On leaving the gallery after an exhibition, the artist must ensure the space is clean and tidy, the floors must be cleaned and any marks on the walls be removed
